Safety and Maintenance

What safety measures do you have in place?

Safety is our top priority. Our aircraft are maintained by a team of certified aviation mechanics, and our instructors are FAA-certified. Our head A/P mechanic is also a co-owner, ensuring a personal commitment to the highest safety standards.

What type of aircraft do you use for training?

We use modern, well-maintained Evektor SportStar Max aircraft equipped with the latest avionics. They are technically advanced aircraft (TAA), featuring an all glass panel with auto pilot, among other modern features. Our oldest plane is from 2013, hence it is a very young fleet with many more years of service. They use mogas (just like car fuel), which is unleaded. Their Rotax engines are very fuel efficient (average 5 Gal/Hr), enabling us to offer a cost competitive options to our Pilots

Course-Specific

How long does it take to get a Sport Pilot License/Private Pilot License/etc.?

The timeline varies depending on the course and individual progress. Please refer to our Flight Training tab for expected timelines.

What is the minimum age requirement for flight training?

There is no minimum age to begin dual instruction with a flight instructor. Therefore, we can provide basic instruction to young Pilots before they turn 16.

You must be at least 16 years old to become a Sport pilot and 14 years old to operate a glider or balloon. You must also be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

For next level training, a young pilot can get a Private Pilot License by age 17 and for a Commercial License, you must be 18 years old
